Over the years of running my own business and through employment, I have faced three main challenges overall. First of all, was a lack of project management. Secondly, management not understanding how to apply business development processes correctly. Lastly, management, clients, and contractors struggling to work with dedicated and hard-working team members who just don’t seem to fit, which is most likely due to the fact that they are Neurodiversity, also known as learning difficulties.
Through these challenges, I have come to realise that it all comes down to people and their lack of knowledge or experience in these areas, myself included.
This led me to dedicate time to work on myself in order to become more knowledgeable and develop the skillset needed to succeed. As a person who has learning difficulties, I have become an advocate for those individuals and business owners who don’t know how to make that transformation and how to implement those changes that I have developed for myself.
