Born in the Netherlands, Eric moved to Murcia (Spain) when he was 16. He holds a BA and MA in English Language & Literature from the University of Murcia, and an MA in Teaching from the University Miguel Hernández. Eric is also an official Cambridge examiner and a part-time lecturer at UCAM University. Currently he is the Vice-president of AJE Región de Murcia (Young Entrepreneurs Association of the region of Murcia) and has been a BNI member since 2014.
In 2016 Eric founded Lingua, a multilingual translation agency. Lingua offers translation, interpretation, and proofreading services in 93 languages. In an ever more globalised world, their goal is to tear down language barriers and facilitate business opportunities.
Lingua specialises in marketing translations, especially website localization, adapting and translating SEO keywords; legal translations, taking into account national and regional legislation to ensure legal validity; and the field of education, translating and proofreading papers for international journals, university syllabuses, etc.
Lingua would like to help retailers and wholesalers that wish to expand internationally, international law firms, and universities worldwide.
